The Scottish Government is accepting consultation responses on the proposed Scottish Human Rights Bill until Thursday 5th October.
We have been working on some resources to support third sector organisations to respond to this consultation.
Recording
The first resource is a recording of last week’s Connectors Lunchtime Webinar, in which Mhairi Snowden, Director of Human Rights Consortium Scotland, provides a breakdown of the Bill and what it means for the sector. FAQs
The second is a simple FAQ to the consultation response, including key points about the Bill, which questions from the consultation may be of interest to third sector organisations and signposting to more detailed guides from other organisations in the sector. The consultation is open until Thursday 5th October 2023 and we encourage all third sector organisations who can, to submit a response. Note: You do not need to respond to every question in the consultation, and you can refer to other organisation’s responses for ease.
